On this tour you will explore beautiful Midtown, while learning about the farm to fork movement, slow food and the cuisine of some of our top local chefs.  You will taste plates from award winning establishments that are committed to sourcing locally grown produce. Along the way you will discover Midtown’s rich arts scene and hear a little local history.

Our guides will treat you to insider knowledge about the dishes you will sample and the inspiration behind them.  You may taste a lamb and mushroom slider, or a season hummus plate drizzled with olive oil crafted by NorCal Native Americans or melt in your mouth hand-made couverture chocolate.  Don’t forget to get the Adult + Drinks ticket to add alcoholic drinks to your day.

You will end the tour with a full belly and satisfaction of a day well spent indulging in Sacramento’s burgeoning food scene.



  • Tour runs about 3 hours
  • Distance from the first stop to the last stop is about 1.4 miles.  Depending on where you park your total trip could be more.
  • You will be walking between establishments on city sidewalks.  At most stops we will sit and enjoy the food.  Some stops, depending on circumstances, will require standing.
  • Most stops have restrooms.
  • Water will be provided at almost every stop and if you purchased a VIP ticket for drinks, you will also receive 3-4 alcoholic beverages at three stops.
  • We offer vegetarian options on this tour, but unfortunately we can’t meet everyone’s needs.  But please do let us know if you have any kind of severe food allergies before the tour.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at each tour’s starting location. After your purchase tickets, you’ll receive emails with parking suggestions.

Are children allowed?

Yes, children are welcome to join the Tour, and we offer a discounted ticket for guests under 12 years old. However, please note that these tours are 3 hours in length and include walking and standing, which may not be be appropriate for some children.

Do we only walk around and sample food?

Absolutely not! Our tours combine stories about the history of the chefs and restaurants, the inspiration behind the ingredients, culinary insights and a little local art and history mixed in to create a unique 3-hour experience.  You will feel like a VIP on our unique and fun tours.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Let us know when you purchase tickets about any allergies.  We will do our best to accommodate your needs, as long as we know in advance.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
