Explore gorgeous Midtown while sampling bites and hearing about the chefs, the ingredients, and the farms that grew them.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be launching our Capay Valley Farm Tour very soon. The Capay Valley is an undiscovered gem right in Sacramento’s back yard, in Yolo County. It is the home of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, and some of the richest soil in the world. Yolo County is just west of Sacramento and within a two-hour drive of Sacramento. On the same latitude as Calistoga and just over the hill from Lake Berryessa, Capay Valley is home to world-class farms that produce everything from fruit and nuts to award-winning olive oil and wine.
The tour will guide you through the valley and we will stop at several farms and meet the farmers, get tours, and best of all, tastings. Spend an afternoon exploring your backyard and enjoy a day in this beautiful place meeting the people that grow much of the food you eat. If you get a CSA box, the produce very likely came from Yolo County. We are super excited to showcase this area to locals and visitors alike.
